Position: Evening Custodian – Fine Arts & Athletic Facilities

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Contract: 250-day custodial salary schedule

 

Summary:

The Evening Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly

environment within the Fine Arts Center and Athletic Facilities. This position ensures all

assigned areas are properly cleaned, sanitized, and prepared for daily use and scheduled

events.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, classrooms, and common areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors (including gym floors as directed)

• Empty trash and replace liners throughout assigned areas

• Clean and secure entrances, hallways, and event spaces

• Set up and tear down for events, practices, and performances as needed

• Monitor building security and report maintenance or safety concerns

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies

• Follow all district safety procedures and guidelines

 

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently

• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment

• Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks required for custodial work

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
